Penyuluhan Evakuasi Fireman Terhadap Kesiapsiagaan Tanggap Bencana Kebakaran

Abstract

Background: Preparedness is a state of readiness in the form of facing a crisis, disaster or other emergency. Preparedness aims to minimize dangerous side effects through effective, timely, adequate and efficient preventive actions for emergency action in disaster relief. Fireman evacuation is an evacuation technique that allows someone to carry another person without help, by placing the person being carried on the helper's shoulders. Objective: To determine the effect of firefighter evacuation on fire disaster response preparedness among cadres in Manang village. Method: Quantitative research, using a quasi-experimental method with pre and post tests without a control group. The population in this study was 30 respondents, with a sampling technique using total sampling, 30 samples were obtained. The instrument in this research uses a preparedness questionnaire which has been tested for validity and reliability. The research was conducted in Manang Village, Grogol, Sukoharjo. Results: The average of the initial elderly respondents was female. The average level of preparedness before being given a fire extinguisher evacuation was sufficient to poor and the average level of preparedness after being given a fire extinguisher evacuation was good. The results of this research used the Wilcoxon test, namely Pvalue 0.000. This means that there is an influence of firefighter evacuation on fire disaster response preparedness among cadres in Manang village.
